The official announcement says 29,490 foreign nationals were denied entry during the first five months of 2026. It also states that 169,506 people are blacklisted in the APPS screening system, which helps stop high-risk travellers before boarding.

2. No Stay

The No Stay measure targets foreigners already in Thailand who are violating visa conditions. This includes overstayers, illegal workers and people misusing student or volunteer visas to work or run businesses illegally.

The official report says 668 “fake student” ED visas were revoked, and 14,161 overstayers and illegal workers were arrested and processed for deportation. 3. No Escape

The No Escape measure refers to raids and coordinated police action across Thailand. Immigration says it is using Big Data together with local police to identify target zones linked to transnational crime and illegal foreign activity.

The official release reports 190 high-risk target zones raided nationwide. Chonburi, including Pattaya, was the top area mentioned, with 147 targeted operations.
